Edelweiss Fudge Pie

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces german sweet chocolate
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 cup whipped cream

Recipe

  • 1 grease a 9-inch pie pan.
  • 2 preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  • 3 melt chocolate and butter together over low heat.
  • 4 cool to room temperature.
  • 5 in large bowl, beat eggs two minutes until foamy.
  • 6 add the & brown sugars, beat at high speed one minute.
  • 7 add flour, beat on low speed one minute.
  • 8 add the chocolate-butter mixture and vanilla.
  • 9 beat 1-1/2 minutes on medium speed.
  • 10 pour into well-greased pie plate.
  • 11 bake at 325 degrees 40 minutes.
  • 12 cool.
  • 13 serve with a dollop of whipped cream.
  • 14 optional: 1/2 cup chopped nuts may be added to mixture before baking.
